Forfar Located on Highway 42 east of Highway 15 in Rideau Lakes Township, Forfar is famous for its cheese and curds. The town takes its name from the Scottish hometown of Mr. Stevenson, a Forfar resident. First known as "Hales Corners", Forfar is located on Highway 42 east of Highway 15.
