Chaffey's Lock
Part of the Rideau Canal World Heritage site, Chaffey's Locks is a thriving cottage and tourist community centred on the lock station and its famous resorts. Visitors from across the continent fall in love with Chaffey's Lock.
Paradise = Chaffey's Lock
Named for Benjamin and Samuel Chaffey, who established several mills in the area in 1820, this quaint community is a famous starting point for world class fishing and boating. The local historical society hosts a new exhibit every summer in the Lockmaster's house, which was built in 1844.

WATER, WATER, EVERYWHERE:
From May until mid-October boaters use the municipal dock located on Upper Rideau Lake in Westport. Village amenities are easily accessible via a footbridge. Within easy driving of Westport are dozens of lakes; canoeing, boating and fishing are favourite pastimes in the area. Boat and canoe rentals are available in town.
