About the Westport & Rideau Lakes Chamber of CommerceObjectivesThe Westport & Rideau Lakes Chamber of Commerce is a non-profit organization and it's objectives are as follows: - To serve the community and in particular, it's business interests.
- To provide information services to the public, i.e.: business, industry, potential residents and tourism.
- To work with all levels of Government for the good of the community.
- To encourage, promote and improve the overall business climate in the community.
- To attract industry and tourism to the community.
- To maintain a focus on key issues and concerns and offer assistance to solve these problems.
- To support other groups in their efforts to serve the community.
- In addition, we sponsor the Antique Show and Sale, Citizen of the Year Award, and Canada Day Celebrations. We work hand-in-hand with the Ontario and Canadian Chambers of Commerce acting as liaison between Business and Government.

Westport Rideau Lakes Chamber members know the value of a dollar; they excel at service and offer a wide selection of goods and services. We really do boast great shopping. Browse our member’s directory. WATER, WATER, EVERYWHERE: From May until mid-October boaters use the municipal dock located on Upper Rideau Lake in Westport. Village amenities are easily accessible via a footbridge. Within easy driving of Westport are dozens of lakes; canoeing, boating and fishing are favourite pastimes in the area. Boat and canoe rentals are available in town.
