Rideau Family Fun: For the Young and Young-at-heart There is no shortage of recreational activties to keep the kids busy in Westport and the Rideau Lakes. Whether you’re boating, camping, hiking or cycling, there are a great number of conservation areas to explore and many lakes to take a plunge. If you don’t have your own equipment, you’ll find boat rentals that will meet your needs. Take the kids fishing, hike a segment of the old CN rail or soak in some history at the Old Stone Mill in Delta (kids programs available during summer months). The kids will love the lookout from Spy Rock in Foley Mountain Conservation Area – an easy walk for a magnificent view! More to come – check back soon!
